Mars in 2084 is being developed and run by a fierce corpocracy using "Zetol," zero tolerance law and order. A miner from Jupiter's moon Ganymede arrives looking for a mate and a market for materials. He finds a mate who helps him fight the Martian multi-billionaire who oppresses the population by forcing them into his commercial channels and who cyrogenically "pauses" those who resist his Mercantile Mind operating system that runs his OverNet supercomputer and the lives of all Martian settlers. A battle of the robots begins. But the supercomputer has AI which the rebels can hack into and convert the intelligent machine an altruistic force for Martian freeness.
