Talking about Responsible Purchasing seems crucial to me in view of what we are currently experiencing as a health crisis and the economic slump in which we find ourselves. It is therefore important today to change the paradigm in purchasing, i.e. to face the global challenges we are facing: climate change, environmental degradation and the depletion of natural resources. The climate issue is more topical than ever and is perhaps one of the major challenges for purchasing departments: Integrating the economic, environmental and social dimension into the purchasing process and developing global and sustainable performance?
