Damian J Kubik's "thankful for the scars you drew" is a poetry book made up of two parts. The first, "harps", explores motives of philosophy, mental health, sexuality, and paganism. The second, "theremins"', explores a single motive of romance, giving a chronological interpretation of the termination of a relationship. Full of free verse, haikus and rhyming couplets, this collection takes on taboo topics and brings them to light, aiming to normalise controversial discourse.
