Amanda Pennington has just buried her father, a renowned physician/scientist who specialized in genetics and biomedical cell engineering. With her longtime friend, Benjamin "Beans" Carter, Amanda discovers lab journals and notebooks in her father's mountainside laboratory that are disturbing.
