Marcie is the pretty new server at a pool hall. She meets the sexy bouncer, Tony, and after a witty, innuendo-filled conversation, they end up starting a relationship, which has its ups and downs... Meanwhile, Marcie's friend, self-professed, yet reluctant gold digger and fellow server at the pool hall, Sherry, has been pursued by successful lawyer, Bryan, and she decides to give him and his considerable wealth a chance. She has two daughters and doesn't want them to grow up poor like she did. Unfortunately, Brian is tragically killed, leaving Sherry single again and under financial duress.
