After robbing a string of liquor stores one night in Downtown Los Angeles, 18 year old Sam Harper is caught. But, not by the law. He is caught by an organized crime syndicate who own one of the stores. As a punishment, he must now work in the kitchen of their restaurant as a dishwasher. There, he is to learn the true value of earning a living the legal way. But, along the way Sam begins getting involved in the same criminal activity that brought him to their attention in the first place. To make matters worse, he initiates a forbidden relationship with the daughter of one of those ruthless men. Follow Sam Harper as he struggles through all the twists and turns of a young adult to find out if he truly is a sheep or a wolf in an unforgiving environment.
