Things aren't going well for Stubby, a pine tree who lives in a field full of big, strong, tall trees. He's small and looks different than everyone else. Yet he dreams of becoming a Christmas tree covered with lights and decorations. The other trees laugh and point out how unlike the others he is. Still, Stubby holds on to his dream of becoming a real Christmas tree.
