They call themselves the team and are led by George Knox, a man whose pernickety attention to detail and adhering to his rule of the six P's, has enabled the team to steadfastly evade arrest.To the police the four men are no more than violent, armed robbers who for a decade have successfully robbed banks, building societies and armoured cars and in doing so, thumbed their noses at every attempt to catch them.Of course the police know who they are, indeed know most things about them, but without evidence are unable to bring them to justice.Now, by mutual agreement, the team's final job, their last armed robbery before their retirement from the business, is planned and about to be executed when unexpectedly, the discovery in Glasgow's Pollok Park of a young woman's body turns everything on its head.The team now find themselves focusing on finding then bringing retribution down upon her murderer before DCI Martin Benson and his officers identify and arrest the killer.
