Margaret Colleen Fennell Hoover was born on December 11, 1979, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to Vannoy Fite and Eddie Fennell. Vannoy Gentles Fite (Saltillo, TX) holds certifications as a yoga instructor, Ayurvedic life coach, herbalist, and aromatherapist. She believes in natural healing methods such as yoga and Ayurveda and living mindfully and sustainably. She graduated from Saltillo High School in Saltillo, Texas, in 1998. Saltillo High School serves students in grades 9 through 12.Slammed, Hoover's debut novel was started in November 2011 with no intention of it being published.
