Bearing the cost of several traumatic experiences including the abandonment of the marital home by her husband, she fights hard to give meaning to her life.Beyond gender based violence and the empowerment of African women, the author develops several hot topics: the crisis of values, the illegal emigration of young people, neo-colonialism, among others.This book is a sincere call for genuine appropriation of the complementary roles and responsibilities that black men and women must play in the construction of an emerging African continent.
