The trip began with a plan, a few dollars, and a few days. What could possibly go wrong? Seven men find themselves deeply involved in a life-threatening foreign experience of their own making. Six are family-centered, conservative, corporate, button-down types. The seventh, a rugged individualist, is driven by gold lust like a '49er in early California.
