The book was designed to be a textbook or supplementary material for any high school or college course involved with Hearing and Balance. The format of the book is questions followed by answers. Students can use the book for self-teaching with the answers containing follow up references. Many of the authors and Illustrators are high-school students who are members of the Neuroscience Sensory Unit founded by Dr. Pidgeon. The breadth of questions in the book enables students to achieve a broad understanding of the science of Hearing and Balance. Topics in the book include neuroscience, Auditory sound behavior, physical phenomena when sound impacts human skin and many more. A teachers' manual is in preparation. The teachers' manual contains test or exam questions or homework questions.
